Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY – Prime Minister’s Rural Road Programme) was launched by the Government of India as part of a poverty reduction strategy to provide all-weather road connectivity to unconnected habitations. Geospatial Rural Road Information System (GRRIS) is a national level geographical presentation of PMGSY. It generates dynamic geospatial outputs using the live national level MIS database (OMMAS) and associated geospatial information. GRRIS enables every citizen even in the remote corner of this country to visualize the details of the rural roads constructed/improved/covered under the PMGSY scheme.

GIS data was created for the purpose of PMGSY. Boundaries displayed may not be official/legal
